Let’s meet
Let’s talk about your wedding. Certainly with regard to a wedding abroad, you want to have sufficient time for the organisation. Schedule an initial introductory meeting so that you can ask all your questions and get to know more about our work method. During this meeting, we discuss all of your wishes. This can be a meeting on location or an online meeting (via Skype). After this intake you receive a personal quote without any obligation, which is entirely attuned to the wishes you communicated during the meeting. After your approval, the planning can begin.

02 The planning of your wedding abroad From the Netherlands, we basically make all the arrangements that can be made in advance. The best local wedding suppliers suiting your taste and budget, the location, caterer, photographer, videographer, florist, band, hairdresser and make-up artist. As the wedding date draws nearer, we go to this special place where everything will be happening on a trial weekend together. We attune all of the final details with the location(s) and local suppliers, so that every detail suits who you are as a couple.
On top of that, you can get some feeling of what the wedding will look like and enjoy the anticipation to the big day in advance. Should you prefer to arrange certain matters on the spot, we can travel to the country of your choosing to visit locations and make a choice on the basis of that. It can be very nice to taste the atmosphere of the location before the wedding. And the easiest way to do this is by visiting the wedding location in advance. A building that does not look spectacular online can be amazing in real life thanks to a magnificent hidden courtyard. And vice versa. The pictures on the website look fantastic, but the interior of the wedding location is not quite up to the style you have in mind.

The wedding
It is time to celebrate your love. From the journey to the wedding destination up to the big day itself, everything is arranged for you to the minutest detail. I am at your service, keep an eye on the planning and answer any questions the suppliers and guests have and solve any problems. If necessary, I’ll be supported by one or more assistant wedding planners. Which means that there is only one thing for you to do: enjoy what will be one of the best days of your lives.

Is a marriage abroad valid in the Netherlands?
Yes, I certainly have! I’ve organised various weddings in Spain and Italy and gained experience with a wedding planner in the United States of America.
Additionally, I did an international bachelor programme, which gave me a great deal of experience in business at international level. For this programme, I travelled halfway around the world and learnt to work together with many different cultures. This experience makes that I know well how to approach suppliers in different countries and what their norms and values are.
A marriage abroad is not automatically legally valid in the Netherlands. Once you know in which country you want to get married, the best thing you can do is contact the Dutch branch of the foreign embassy concerned. They can give you the information needed regarding the regulations that apply to a wedding in the country where you want to be married.
To ensure that your yes will be officially valid in the Netherlands, you often need documents prior to the marriage. This includes requesting an extract from the birth register and a statement that you are unmarried or divorced. There is no need to worry, I can help you with all of these steps.
